Curt Middleton

Chief Creative Officer

Curt has more than 20 years of experience in both print and interactive media design. He has helped a diverse and distinguished portfolio of businesses and organizations such as Scholastic, KIPP, Pearson, ABC, A&E, The New Yorker, Parent’s Magazine, The Plaza Hotel and Kellogg’s communicate their brands in engaging and memorable ways.

Curt began his career in visual design as Art Director for an educational travel concern and Reuters New Media, before co-founding Bitflip, an interactive design agency. He has earned numerous industry distinctions for his work in interactive media. Curt holds a BA in American Studies from Stanford University and an MA in Visual Communications from Pratt Institute.

Curt served in the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa where he worked in the areas of health, education, and community development. He and his wife established a foundation that funds grass roots development projects in the Casamance region of Senegal, and visits the region frequently with their two children.
