Closing the Gap in Mental Health

With mental illness being the leading cause of disability worldwide, one of the World Health Organization’s missions is to provide the highest level of mental healthcare to everyone in the world. The Workshop collaborated with WHO and the Global Mental Health Program at Columbia University to answer that call by creating the Global Clinical Practice Network—a living network that brings more than 12,000 mental health professionals together. More importantly, it lets them share research, collaborate, collect and share the most meaningful data, to start drawing the curtain on the burden of mental health, wherever people are suffering.
